SBN: As a jock, it is my duty to give nerds a hard time

Mr. Rob Parker and the Vicious Circle.

By day, Rob Parker is a mild-mannered sports pundit. But at night he becomes… THE TROLL!

  Rob Parker @RobParkerESPN

To all the stat-geeks that follow @keithlaw: please put ur calculators down and watch the damn game. That’s why the A’s haven’t won jack.

Where’s my pocket protector, glasses, laptop and another date-less night? I wanna fit in. Lol

Keith Law's twitter followers doomed the 2000 ALDS!

I'm 30 years old and I've never seen a pocket protector in my life. And I'm actually a scientist.

I do of course use a slide rule on a daily basis.

Parker is supposed to be a jock?

Never saw him play.

Whoever just redid this website needs to take the gigantic "share on twitter"; "share on facebook" buttons and move them somewhere that's not right in the beginning of each article.

But then how will 4 or 5 close friends plus 250 people you went to high school with and haven't talked to in 20 years know what you are reading at this given moment?

Who the hell is Rob Parker?

Huey Lewis!?

Anyway, it wasn't him, it was his son.

Huey Lewis!

In the 9th grade I was president of the science club and won the quiz bowl at the state's Science Olympiad, and also played on the basketball and baseball teams. The nerd/jock division is overrated.

No, that's Rob Parker (bringing it full circle).

Didn't he get in trouble a couple times for just making up stories? I'm surprised he's still in the writing game.

It's cool; they're at the end of the "article," too.

Yeah, it's full of guys who are neither real jocks nor real nerds.
