There must be a way to make it so this video does not automatically load as soon as I click on the Newsstand link, but I don't know what it is.

Flashblock (for Firefox and Chrome, and also for most other things if you look around a bit) is a dear, dear friend. Instead of a video I get a medium grey square with a stylized "f" in the middle of it, that I can click if I wish to discoer Toe's wisdom.

If you're browsing in Chrome, you can disable the autoplay. Go to Settings:Privacy, click the Content Settings button, and then under Plug-Ins unselect "play automatically" and choose "click to play".

If you open a page with a video on it, it will just sit there until you click on it.

(I recently learned this, and it's made my internet browsing infinitely more pleasant - I hated clicking a link and immediately being bombarded with sound I wasn't expecting.)

Came here to ##### just like post one and others...Ugh...this is bs...everytime I get to the home page it starts loading(and no, I'm not looking for a download solution or change settings. I like what I have...I just shouldn't have to be bombarded without actually clicking on something)

Thank you...will try it, but if this then means I have to click every time some other plug-in that I'm used to using, it won't work for me.
