Sister of Roger Clemens takes to Twitter to vent about negative remarks made by Goose Gossage

As I was just throwing up out Goose’s name…

“Mrs. J,” as Johnson calls herself on Twitter, fired back on Thursday: “Seriously,” she wrote, “what is wrong with Goose Gossage. Every time something is mentioned about HOF and Clemens, he mouths off.”

“I had to look to see if the guy was in the HOF,” she tweeted later that day. “Apparently in 2008. Point is, he doesn’t know jack squat about the facts in the case.”

A Washington jury, of course, acquitted Clemens of perjury charges last year. Federal prosecutors, of course, said Clemens lied when he told Congress in 2008 that he had never used steroids.

“But he runs his mouth like he has factual evidence against Clemens,” Johnson complained on Twitter. “If he does then he needs to bring it forward or shut the hell up.”

“5-1/2 years of the FEDERAL GOVT chasing Clemens and (Brian) McNamee having the full weight of the govt behind his statements. and they HAD NOTHING,” Mrs. J said.

“So, in the most polite and frank way, you Goose Gossage are NOT GOD,” Johnson concluded. “So shut your trap. #lesmiserables”

Jesus analogies are so passe. So now Clemens is Jean Valjean?

I'll bet George Brett would have slugged worse against God.

Goose Gossage has become Bob Feller...save the pitching record, war record, and Matt Bottcher's record.

I was going to say that family members never provide all that much help to the person they're defending... but in this case, she manages to rightly make Gossage look like the small, petty individual that he is.

Funny, but I find it especially touching when sisters stand up for brothers.

"Of course" is such a grating, unnecessary phrase in each instance.

And I'm now more a fan of Mrs J than I ever was of her brother.

The Hall of Fame started as a gimmick. It'll end as one.

Someone please open another.

Somewhere warm.

McNamee shot up Clemens' wife with HGH, she has acknowledged. Now I wonder if he overdosed the sister with something else - this sounds like 'roid rage....

I think it's weird that she refers to her brother by his last name.

Best Upper Deck nugget I got: Every card #'d that ends in 69 in the 92 set was given that ending because of their porn star name.

1992 Upper Deck #'d cards: 269 Dick Schofield, 469 John Wehner, 569 Heathcliff Slocumb, 769 Dickie Thon.

I think it would fit nicely in the Are Kids Today More Immature than Previous Generations? thread.
