Someone wanted no part of yesterdays brawl.

Somebody on Reddit decided to figure out who the one Padre who didn’t join the brawl was.

can they scan the numbers of the players who were on the field during the brawl to eliminate candidates?

The end of the clip shows him running out of the dugout.
I'm guessing he just ran in to get anyone that wasn't visible, realized there wasn't anyone there, and then ran out.

I don't think he's a "coward" as some are making him out to be...

Might have been letting the guys in the clubhouse know there was something brewing.

Or stealing their wallets, I don't know.

Never mind, just watched the end of the clip again and it shows the guy sprinting out of the clubhouse at the end.

So the moral of the story is that there's approximately one big-league player with his head screwed on straight for every 50 in the game?

There are hockey players who are known non-fighters, I would imagine there are baseball players as well. Is Stults of Mennonite background? Tommie Herr may have been. A non-fighter might be best off finding a like minded person on the other team, during the brawl, and saying "Hey Bill, let's try to stop any more people from getting hurt." Seems like 80% of players in these brawls are pulling people away from the middle and 20% are trying to hit someone in the middle.
