He started his first game at 3B last night, and made a nice over-the-shoulder catch in foul territory for the 3rd out of the inning.
He's got the biggest discrepancy between talent/popularity on the Blue Jays, and probably in all the American League.
He's not no power (but has a decent average and used to draw walks), his fielding is good but not great, and yet he's easily the #3 most popular player on the team (behind Bautista and Lawrie).
The media loves him, the fans love him, and it seems the other players enjoy having him around.

Lawrie's attitude and talent have both outstripped his performance. The fact that he seems to get hurt on a daily basis doesn't help either.

Didn't RTFA, but I hope the remedy involves flinging his feces.

The quote, of course, comes from Dutch Schultz's final words: "Oh, sir, get the doll a roofing. A monkey never cramps, nor dashed a thousand kim."
