Santana was late to sign — and it took some injuries to get him to Atlanta — but through a handful of starts, Santana has demonstrated a new level of ability.

Santana has simply been a joy to watch. He throws first pitch strikes to everybody, attacks hitters and does it with swing-and-miss stuff. Makes the games fly right along.

I'm shocked to see an inconsistent pitcher find success after leaving the Angels, and lean heavily on his changeup while so doing.
