Texas Rangers have to get smarter to get better

The title makes me think of Dilbert.

But don’t let their payroll fool you. They’re richer — in trade-able talent — than you think.

It’s going to be an interesting off-season.

Great. I eagerly await them trading Chris Davis and Ian Kinsler for the 2009 version of Adam Eaton and a Japanese reliever to be named later.

That's the only way the team is going to get better now that Tom Hicks has sworn off ever paying top dollar for top talent again.
