Good. I was hoping someone online would start publishing a WAR metric.

There's some discussion the merits of this implementation of WAR at The Book Blog:

gWAR the Latest WAR Implementation

where it gets some positive comments from WAR framework 'creator' Tom TangoTiger.

The big news from my viewpoint is that it uses Michael Humphrey's Defensive Regression Analysis (DRA) for fielding calculations (that are used in the book WIZARDRY).

It's better than the Fangraphs version, but will be ignored unless it makes it on BBref.
