The Separate Paths of Craig Kimbrel and the Red Sox | FanGraphs Baseball

Not even a mention of Darwinzon Hernandez? That’s a pretty big oversight. If he doesn’t break camp with the team, it won’t be too long before he’s making a real impact on their bullpen. Lakins and Shawaryn I expect will provide some depth as well.

Easy on Darwinzon. He's an interesting prospect to be sure but he has yet to show anything remotely approaching MLB caliber control. His walk rate in the minors has been very high and he hasn't really pitched meaningfully above single A. He is a guy who could make progress quickly and contribute in 2019 but I'd put that in the category of a surprise rather than an expectation.

Be honest. He almost hit you with a pitch, didn't he?
