John (You Can Call Me Grandma) Murphy Posted: November 06, 2009 at 02:45 PM (#3380557)joe torre's older brother must have been one tough hombre. i've always liked joe, he kind of didn't get a lot of help when he was managing the cards -- now i have a little more respect for him for overcoming the past.
I know it's serious, Tripon. My point was that the vast majority of Simer's columns are of the comedic variety (intentionally or not).
If Simers actually did that, he'd be a lot more likable as a columnist.
I watched a very special episode of "Blossom" in Spain a few years ago. I was able to understand maybe 20% of what was said. She got her first period.
Whoa! [/joey]
So, there, did she get her first ¿?
That wasn't just a very special episode, that's the first episode. (Kind of. I always thought it was the first, but looking at Wikipedia, it appears that the pilot aired on July 5, 1990, with this episode airing second, on January 3, 1991. I don't really know what the deal is. What I do remember is watching a new show one night and it being all about a girl's first period, and then never watching that show ever again.)
