1. Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Griffin (Vlad) Posted: February 06, 2010 at 02:57 PM (#3455268)Good for McCourt. Nothing hurts Simers more than being ignored.
This column is a great example of why I can't stand Simers's writing. He goes to the hockey game, complains that not enough fans are paying to see the team, then gets bored after the first period and leaves. If you can't even stand to watch it for free, when it's your job, why is some working schlub wrong for refusing to pay for the exact same experience (minus the access and the free buffet) that you just turned your nose up at?
He's just not that into you.

Hopefully, McCourt will be the first of many to make that decision.
