Troy Tulowitzki and Carlos Gonzalez growing tired of losing in Colorado

...said Tulowitzki, reviewing the 17 years Helton spent as the face of a franchise that never won a division title. “He played in a couple postseason games and went to one World Series. But that’s not me. I want to be somewhere where there’s a chance to be in the playoffs every single year.”

With the expanded playoffs, that’s everywhere.

At the risk of being obvious: If you care about winning, don't sign a 10-year contract with the Rockies.

To be perfectly honest, if you really, really care about winning, you probably shouldn't sign a 10 year contract anywhere. Nothing improves your playoff chances like the ability to leave for greener pastures.

If they would prefer losing in Wrigley, I'd be willing to consider it.

Boy, I can't wait to see them losing on the Yankees.

Did the article specify where they'd prefer to lose???

The great thing about baseball is you get to go lose somewhere else every three to six days.

Trade his ass. Big baby.

All things being equal, Denver is a pretty nice city to do your losing in.

You're just saying that because they can soothe the pain of losing with some gancha.

Maybe they can smoke their way to the pennant???

It might work since you can smoke your way onto the 40 man.

Losing sucks, but somebody has to do it.

There are 15 teams per league; so going to the WS once in 17 years isn't that far off what should be the norm.

I'd be surprised if Tulo uses pot. He seems like an uptight, all-business, doesn't want to lose control type of guy. Though maybe someone has convinced him of the medicinal benefits.

If he'd had known it was going to be just him and 24 kids, he would never have signed it.

Like I said, "with the Rockies."

And yet, if you're Tulo and you've been to the postseason twice, including a WS trip, and your team is coming off of a decent (not great) 83 win season and the team offers you a 7 year, $134 million deal would you turn it down? (even if I abused commas?).
