1. Rickey Fredonia Fudge Duckery Precious Twiddle Posted: July 10, 2012 at 06:18 PM (#4178949)This isn't even likely to start well.
On the upside, all he really has to do is pitch better than Mike Minor has.
who re-makes the majors first, Sheets or Prior???
That's a lofty expectation.
Is Prior ready to comeback on Friday or Saturday?
It's against the Mets. I'm sure he'll pitch a 2 hit shutout.
Well, he's K'd 21 in 9.1 innings in AAA (which is insane), but he's also walked 10 (which is also insane). So...probably not?
I really hope he stays healthy enough to pitch even a little bit this season. That would be amazing.
I don't know if this was serious, or if it was Mets fan self-loathing, but it was a pretty reasonable prediction.
good egg
relish the moment since he is about to be struck by a wayward piano a la wile e coyote
So, I predict that Sheets will go into the 9th with a lead in the last game of the season, with a Braves win clinching the second wild card spot. In that inning, a little flying stick of dynamite labeled, "Brewers", will land on his arm and explode.
