Vets elect Mazeroski, Negro leaguer Smith

At least they didn’t elect Dom Dimaggio… The Veterans Committee has made some serious mistakes in the past; however, this decision will only look like a mistake when Maz’s fielding ability is forgotten. When will that be? Hopefully never, but at least they didn’t elect Dom Dimaggio.
