When people compile the "best of" list for 2013 baseball, I hope they remember this game.
It's got as much excitement as a World Series game right now.

The scary thing is that the loser has to face Cuba in an elimination game.

Taiwans plan to fall behind 2-0, 3-1 to every hitter is not a plan I would endorse.
   308. Random Transaction Generator Posted: March 08, 2013 at 10:21 AM (#4383889)
REALLY nice bunt.

I hope these teams meet in the finals (or semi-finals) of this pool. I want another game like this.
(Except at a slightly quicker pace, please.)
   317. RollingWave Posted: March 08, 2013 at 10:37 AM (#4383901)
BANKAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

   320. Gamingboy Posted: March 08, 2013 at 10:39 AM (#4383904)
Want to know who are happy about this game?

The Netherlands.
   321. Random Transaction Generator Posted: March 08, 2013 at 10:42 AM (#4383906)
They speak English in the CT dugout?

When the batter found a replacement bat, you could easily hear "Yeah, that's the one. That's the winner." quite clearly from his teammates.
   322. Gamingboy Posted: March 08, 2013 at 10:44 AM (#4383908)
Oh, what a ballgame!
   323. Random Transaction Generator Posted: March 08, 2013 at 10:44 AM (#4383909)
Heartbreak!
   324. Weekly Journalist_ Posted: March 08, 2013 at 10:46 AM (#4383910)
Alas...
   325. RollingWave Posted: March 08, 2013 at 10:47 AM (#4383911)
GAHHH, this was the best team we've ever put together to be honest, ONE ####### STRIKE>

Japan is so going to 3 peat.

I get now why my sister (who was a Japanese boyfriend) didn't come home today, gah.

   326. Weekly Journalist_ Posted: March 08, 2013 at 10:50 AM (#4383912)
Its not over Rolling Wave. Get ready for Cuba!
   327. Weekly Journalist_ Posted: March 08, 2013 at 10:59 AM (#4383919)
And no way is this iteration of Japan threepeating. The Dominicans will slaughter them.
   328. RollingWave Posted: March 08, 2013 at 11:18 AM (#4383926)
Japan is simply unbeatable in close games, if you can blow them out early, you 'll win, but if it's close and late, they're like the greatest team ever. We didn't blow the game open with a couple of chance and that's that, GAHHHHHHHHHHHHH 1 ####### STRIKE

I think we have basically no chance against Cuba, this game was so emotionally and physically commmitted, we went 150% here and it's going to be a ugly backlash tomorrow, I'm not even sure who can start tomorrow now.

   329. ajnrules Posted: March 08, 2013 at 11:58 AM (#4383969)
Yeah, it sucks. First the Rangers, and now Taiwan. I'm done with the WBC for this year. It was fun, but last thing I want to see is Japan three-peating.
