True, but aside from Cleveland the hitting in the division is really nothing special. It's the game's best pitching division by & large.

Um, the Tigers scored 887 runs last year- second in the majors and a full half-run a game more than the Indians.
Lemme know if you ever go see Fountains of Wayne or Guster.
Garland's pitched well against Detroit and KC the last few years, but he's only been mediocre against the Twins and not particularly good against Cleveland. Moving west, Texas can hit, Oakland can't, and we'll see which Mariner team shows up. I don't see Garland suffering from a change in divisions.
For the Angels, can this mean Weaver in a deal for for Miguel Cabrera? They probably shouldn't do that, but that would make the Angels better for 2008.
