World Series Game 2 OMNICHATTER

Well, after Justin Verlander’s dominating 14-strikeout complete game shutout tonig—- sorry, where did I put it.. oh, here it is: After Pablo Sandoval’s 3-HR performance, the Giants lead 1-0. Can the Tigers tie it back up? Will Madison Bumgarner recover from earlier to make this 2-0? Will we discuss various pop cultural mainstays? Only time will tell…

Detroit Tigers (Fister) @ San Francisco Giants (Bumgarner). 8 PM. FOX.

I'm just glad we get to see a game that is competitive afterthethird inning. Haven't had one of those for like a week.

@201 Hey, Dont be hating on Mike Krukow. Hes one of my favorite color guys anywhere. Great pitching analysis. I will concur though on Fleming and Kuiper. They dont bring as much to the table at KNBR

Who's the mom in the 'waiting in line for an iPhone' commercial? I know I've seen her somewhere before.

As the game goes on, remains scoreless, and is generally stressful, remember: The Baby Walrus is your friend.
   209. Mike Webber Posted: October 25, 2012 at 10:10 PM (#4283710)
Bumgarner still below 90 pitches, amazing.

I haven't seen the ad, but google suggests she's Jeannetta Arnette.

Head if the Class is where I know her from! Bless you boys! This has been annoying me for awhile now and I'm too stupid to just google it.

Yep: Jeannetta Arnette. Did a ton of 80's TV shows; I remembered her from "Head of the Class," I think.
Speaking of: mmm, Khrystyne Haje. (I know, take it to the Upton thread)

Why is Fister still out there? Pence gets hit. Surprise, surprise, surprise.

Leyland ALWAYS leaves his starters in too long.
   216. Mefisto Posted: October 25, 2012 at 10:18 PM (#4283724)
I'm not sure if I'm more surprised that Pence got a hit or that he laid off the pitch in the dirt.

Likewise. He took the fastball down the middle; I figured the flail at the low, outside breaking ball was a lock.

Every time it's on, I find something new to hate about it. This time, it was Brees's ridiculous sense of entitlement to start the conversation.
