A’s - Acquired Kennedy
Oakland A’s - Acquired 2B Adam Kennedy from the Tampa Bay Rays for future considerations.
Mr. Kennedy’s stock has fallen a great deal in the last couple of years. Even a modest bounceback season in 2008 wasn’t enough to get Kennedy more than a starting job at AAA. Kennedy hits left-handed and can play a little defense, enough to make him a usable role player, but it’s unlikely he’ll ever get much of a chance to start regularly again, save for injuries.
