A’s - DLed Durazo

Oakland A’s - Placed DH Erubiel Durazo on the 15-day DL; recalled 1B Dan Johnson.

There was little reason for Dan Johnson to start the year in the minors - Hatteberg served his purpose already and it’s one thing for Beane to play his pet over all comers when the A’s have an offense that’s serviceable and a rotation of Zito-Mulder-Hudson-Redman-Harden and another to play Hatteberg when the team is playing this poorly.  Johnson’s replacing Durazo, of course, but bad start aside, if Johnson has a good enough fortnight to stay on the team, it better be Hatteberg he’s replacing and not Durazo.

I don't see either Hatteberg nor Durazo with the team next year. Johnson's projected as an average 1B. I'd like to see all three traded and another 1B choice emerge -- Swisher? Barton? Kielty?
