Atlanta Braves - Signed Wee Willie

Atlanta Braves - Signed 2B Willie Harris to a minor-league contract.

Do you know why the Braves shouldn’t trade Marcus Giles?  Because none of their vaunted stable of middle infield prospects are likely to really be any better than Willie Harris.  Harris really should have considered signing with the Cardinals - if Harris and David Eckstein teamed up and combined their powers, they might have been able to get that cookie jar that Tony LaRussa leaves on the counter, tantalizingly out of reach.  Chips Ahoy!
