Blue Jays - Signed Weber

Toronto Blue Jays - Signed P Ben Weber to a minor-league contract.

Low-risk signing.  Weber’s been poor and/or injured the last few years, but he’s changing his delivery and has been a valuable reliever in the past.  If he’s awful, the Blue Jays will cut him quickly.

What's the source where Weber says he's changing his delivery?

Not sure now - it was awhile ago. Pretty sure I ran into one of the reports at the time of the trade. Maybe I'll go bug Keith Law or someone for a better answer.

Hopefully Toronto learned their lesson from their Billy Koch snafu:

Billy Koch is so angry about being released by the Blue Jays that he doesn't plan to sign with another team. ''I'm going to make the Toronto Blue Jays pay every cent of my salary,'' Koch said. He is owed $950,000 [for 2005] by Toronto.
