Braves - Recalled Pena Jr.

Atlanta Braves - Recalled IF Tony Pena Jr..

Tony Pena Sr. is a better hitter than his son.  Now.  I doubt Junior could hit an Eric Milton pitch 200 feet.  Free Johnny Nepotism!  Or John Schuerholz Jr. for those other many people who weren’t with me and Hutch at a Rome Braves game a few years ago.

Braves' fans all know who Johnny Nepotism is without the explanation.

Isn't the dad John and the son Jonathan? Whenever I read about Little Jonny, I think back to the scathing piece Bill James wrote about Marc Sullivan's "career" with the Red Sox organization.

I thought this paper was going to be about Alejandro Pena's son.

This reminds me of the time BTF had a thread about "Williams' son" doing something or other. Somehow I was surprised when the article turned out not to be about Gerald Williams's son. Why? I still don't know why. I don't even know if Gerald Williams has a son.

I have a Tony Pena Jr. broken bat. Not like that matters.
