Brewers - Signed Kershner

Milwaukee Brewers - Signed P Jason Kershner to a minor-league contract.

Nice little signing.  The Colonel is a perfectly adequate lefty middle reliever and I think the Blue Jays gave up on him too quickly.  The Blue Jays do seem to pull the plug one some of these guys too quickly.  I still feel Aquilino Lopez is a decent reliever and Doug Davis deserved more than a dozen starts.  Kershner’s not going to pitch like Turnbow did in 2005, but the Brewers are kind of weak from the left side in the bullpen with only Jorge de la Rosa and Dana Eveland on the 40-man roster, so unless they sign some other players in the meantime, I expect Kershner to start the season on the team.
