Cards - Acquired Vlad

St. Louis Cardinals - Acquired P Vladimir Nunez from the Texas Rangers for future considerations.

Vlad’s just hanging around as AAA fodder at this point after losing it in 2003, but he’s still probably a better emergency option than the abysmal Kevin Jarvis was. I suspect that there’s some undisclosed injury here.

The UT Nunez isn't actually that bad a bench player; he was just hideously misused in Pittsburgh.
