Chicago White Sox/Toronto Blue Jays

Claimed (I think) OF Brian Simmons off of waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays/Chicago White Sox.

A rather confusing transaction for me as Simmons played for the Blue Jays all year and, in fact, I saw him play against the Indians right before the end of the season.  Strangely enough, ESPN listed Simmons as being claimed by the Blue Jays from the White Sox and I have no recollection of any Tim Pugh-style waiver wars that saw Simmons bounce back and forth over the last few weeks.  Whatever team Simmons is actually on, he’ll get some at-bats as a 5th outfielder.
