Dodgers - Acquired Seo
Los Angeles Dodgers - Acquired P Jae Seo from the New York Mets for P Duaner Sanchez.
The Mets haven’t really been interested in Seo for a long time, though he’s a suitable middle-of-the-rotation starter and preferable to Vic Zambrano. They’ve been interested in getting a setup man for a long time, so rather than give up players they care about for Baez, they go for Duaner Sanchez instead. Sanchez can be erratic at times and lose his temper, but he should beat his ZiPS projection and be a good 7th/8th inning guy for the Mets.
ZiPS doesn’t particularly care for Seo either, but he’ll fill out the Dodger rotation pretty well - one thing Colletti has done better than Depodesta did is make sure the Dodgers won’t have to hold open tryouts in spring training for the 5th spot. Penny/Lowe/Perez/Tomko/Seo isn’t an elite rotation by any means, but nobody should be awful, which is more than you could say about Scott Erickson.

1. JPWF13Seo has an ERA of 3.8 in about 400 mlb innings
if he puts up a k/bb of 129/47 in 185 innings in Dodger Stadium, he's going to have an ERA under 4.00
Like Seo, he turned out to win the Cy Young, Seo what
Anyway, Seo needs a new org, no doubt, we need bullpen help no doubt
I give a thumbs up Omar, which is not the finger I used during Kaz-night-mir
I just hope Omar doesn't do what I did this past Fantasy Football season and over upgrade his roster and give away valuable parts, because we are getting close now
I thought I could improve my roster every week and every day for that matter and ending up cutting an All-Pro team by the time it was said and done
There, I like that version much better. And while they are at it, if they could rip off the Giants, D'backs, Padres, and Rockies that would be good.
