Nats - Acquired Deivi
Washington Nationals - Acquired IF Deivi Cruz from the San Francisco Giants for P Ben Cox.
This is as close to admitting one of his mistakes as Jim Bowden has ever come. Expecting Cristian Guzman to be this bad was probably unreasonable, but there was no reason to expect a long-term contract for the mediocre-at-best Guzman to not be a disaster. No, Deivi Cruz isn’t a great player and not really a good one, but he can at least hit better than a pitcher and do better than pretend-field his position. Big plus for the Nats, here. Ben Cox is a future and current organizational player, not really part of either team’s future plans.

You joke (I think), but I'm quite afraid that this is going to happen.
Oh, I'm not joking. I think that it's very close to what will happen sometime after the Series.
