Philadelphia Phillies - Acquired P Bobby Livingston from the Tampa Bay Devil Rays for cash after the Devil Rays claimed Livingston off waivers from the Seattle Mariners.
Seattle East! Pat Gillick continues his master plan of acquiring every pitcher that was in the Mariner organization in 2004. Maybe Gillick should get retro-fever for a team that didn’t lose 99 games. Then again, Livingston’s probably good enough to be a mediocre #4 starter that doesn’t strike anybody out, thus meaning that Bill Bavasi will trade J.J. Putz for him after next season, so it’s a winning situation for Trader Pat. Livingston still needs a full, year of AAA to regroup - he’s not ready yet.

1. Jim WisinskiLet's see, 24, LH reliever, just had two bad seasons in AAA. I give him a 25% chance of being as good as Aaron Fultz this year. I like the idea of signing 20 or 30 guys like this.
