Reds - DLed Wilson

Cincinnati Reds - Placed P Paul Wilson on the 15-day DL.

Looks like Paul Wilson is going to have some serious trouble matching his legally required ERA+ of 92 this season.  As it stands now, if he misses significant time, he’s going to have to pitch significantly better than Paul Wilson when he gets back.  Given that the Reds seem incapable of getting Eric Milton to even match Eric Milton’s typical brand of extremely limited excellence, it doesn’t look good.

To replace Paul Wilson, the Reds intend to hold a fan contest, allowing the people who get to sit on the Big Red Couch (do they still do that?) to try their luck at replacing their favorite Red hurler.  Or they’ll use Elizardo Ramirez.  One of those.

I thought Claussen was taking Wilson's rotation spot.

Of course, the Reds can always turn to the REAL Wilson.

I was at a game in the Cleveland series and they did that couch schtick. Just another loud annoying thing to blast from the scoreboard between innings. Whatever happened to some nice organ music?

The linkification is long overdue. Much like the revocation of mandatory registration will be.

The linkification is long overdue.

Forman's got a neato script up now.

Much like the revocation of mandatory registration will be.

Not in this lifetime, not in the next.

If you wanted to volunteer for the countless hours involved in making the registration-free site usable, you should have volunteered before last March.
