Sox - DLed Crisp

Boston Red Sox - Placed OF Coco Crisp on the 15-day DL; purchased the contract of OF Dustan Mohr.

While the Red Sox had a bit of an outfield roster crunch, this isn’t quite the way they were hoping to work things out.  Adam Stern will get most of the starts in center, I’d imagine, which is a good thing.  While he’s not going to be very impressive offensively, the idea of sticking Pena next to Manny will cause salivation amongst right-handed hitters for the next month.  Nixon’s also day-to-day, so Mohr should get a lot of at-bats.  There’s no way the Red Sox can afford to have both Choi and Snow on the team when Choi’s healthy.  Anyone care to guess who my vote to depart is?
