Tigers - DFAed Rincon

Detroit Tigers - Designated P Juan Rincon for assignment.

With Willis being activated for a start against the Twins, Rincon was the logical cut from the bullpen.  Zach Miner takes Rincon’s place, assuming that Willis can actually pitch.  While Willis wasn’t great in his starts in the minors, he was at least able to take the mound and throw 6 innings, something he hasn’t been able to do for awhile.  Rincon will probably resurface, but he’s probably going to have to pitch in the minors for awhile, considering he hasn’t gotten anybody out since 2006 or so.
