White Sox - Signed Andruw

Chicago White Sox - Signed DH Andruw Jones to a 1-year, $500,000 contract.

This is minimum, so it’s not a huge risk for the Sox.  It’s kind of hard to resist taking a flyer on Andruw on the cheap because of the player he used to be, but every year that goes by, that becomes a little more far-fetched.  Jones still needs a fitness guru as his butt is starting to look like former WWF wrestler Yokozuna’s impressive hindquarters.  One would hope Andruw doesn’t play an inning in center, but the White Sox actually put Griffey out there on purpose, so anything’s possible.
