Start making your plans now.
At lunchtime today, I actually looked at Kayak or Orbitz for flights to LAX (or Burbank, or Ontario, or John Wayne, or Long Beach, or ...). I want to look at the Padres schedule too, in case they'll be at home immediately before or after SABR41. I'd love to add not one (Anaheim) but two (Petco) ballparks to my lifelist.
PS. Great to see you again, Mike, as always. Also, Andy McCue confirmed to me that the official schedule for SABR41 will show the BTF Chapter meeting in the hotel bar at midnight Saturday.

Indeed she did, and it really helped at the encore presentation of Ross Davies's Doug Pappas Award-winning work. Ross had left Atlanta by then, but Cecilia used her extensive notes on his presentation, along with the PowerPoint slides that I'd loaded, to demonstrate the correctness of the decision by the SABR40 judges.
BTW, I'll send the PowerPoints to the SABR office in a few days. In addition, I may put some of the really good ones in a web location I control, so that they can be examined ASAP.

I basically had to more or less disappear from the convention for reasons beyond my control. The free time that I expected to have available went away in a blizzard of work-related issues. That's my life right now. (It didn't help that my cell phone, which I forgot to silence, went off in the middle of Treder's presentation...)

That was the last time I saw you. I assumed Treder had you "taken care of".

That was the last time I saw anybody at the convention, other than Susan on Saturday morning.
