From the "He has a name but who gives a crap" department, the Sox lost Rick Asadoorian.
Do they keep him in the designated base stealer role for the season and hope that they can work on his hitting skills? Should be interesting to watch.

Only 12 players were chosen in the major league phase; there's the note about the Nationals selling Prieto to the Sox.
There's also some notes about the minor league portion.
Any thoughts that JJ Davis would have been a better selection? There's at least decent shot he could have taken the Gabe Kapler, failed prospect but I can platoon with Trot role.
Prieto, a 21-year-old Venezuelan, went 0-11 with and 11.54 ERA in Single A and rookie ball last season, but the Sox liked his potential.
