Definite sleeper based on what we know now. Seems to be developing in the just the last two years, and there are no red flags in his offensive numbers - they're just good across the board.
catchers have a history of being late bloomers.
I think there's some hesitancy to promote catchers mid-season, logistically.
He has put together a nice season. But he did come from 3 years at a highly competitive California school to the SALLY league.
I want to see him do it in Wilmington.
Anyway, here's news that 'Belli won't be out long. BTW, the haul we got on Deadline Weekend has now been DFA'd.
Also, here's Cafardo's notes column to chew on.
Then there's some good spin on Wells. Be nice if he came around, what with all those lefties in the MFY lineup.
