You aint going to believe this. All 4 of India’s top choice seamers are injured for the 3rd test with Pakistan.
So we are throwing a comeback kid ( Pathan ) and a 19 yr old at them this weekend on a green, underdone pitch.
Those 2 plus the 3 injured ( no Sreesanth ) are going to be the pace options on the Aussie tour.
This is going to be spectacular or craptucalar.

Jeez, they rested Dhoni and Sachin with niggles, with the Aussie series in mind. And it paid off!
Yuvraj played an absolute cracker. People are comparing it to some Lara innnings, and that was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw it. It was awesome.
Heh, he won’t make the playing XI for the Aussies tests though!

Ganguly & Yuvraj looked great. What an awesome partnership.
Seems the test will be a draw

Its still a week away, and I can’t believe the column inches which are being filled out.
You think Hogg makes it? I am going with 4 man pace attack for the roos.

Yup. Will give detailed accounts if anything interesting happens.
I would have preferred Tait over Mitchell Johnson.
Tait is fast, Mitchell Johnson has the angle, and a track record of success against Sachin/Dravid
Jeez, Jacques must be living a good life
Merry Xmas to you too, mate.

I forgot about Johnson doing well vs. the Indians.
I wanted speed like circa 1999 with Brett Lee.
What is going on here?? Australia should have lost a wicket by now.

All the LBW appeals have been marginally high, and Bowden is just not outting them on first go.
one which was real close looked like an inside edge.

The one where he didn’t offer a shot sounded close. Damien Fleming thought he should have been given.

Ian Chappell said he would have given it cos he was not offering a shot. But hit the top of the pad. Was going over
Jacques playing and missing again. God, I have a real bad feeling about this now.

I thought the crowd might have been bigger. Must have been half full of Pommies last year.
I’d love to go to a boxing day test one day.
