Yea, Johnson was marginally over. Sachin getting that dratted inside edge again.
I would bring Hogg on instead of Johnson. See what he does when Ganguly and Dravid are just defending

Reverse jinx!
I am upset about the post match controversies and was hoping for a draw so every one would forget about the umpiring.

Roebuck sums up my thoughts and most of my friends…
INDIA have been dudded. No one with the slightest enthusiasm for cricket will take the least satisfaction from the victory secured by the local team in an SCG Test that entertained spectators, provided some excellent batting but left a sour taste in the mouth.

Yea, this is spoiling what could have been a good series. Dravid’s dismissal, fine another umpiring error against the Indians..I can accept that, just a bad game, but Ganguly’s was unacceptable. You have ####### third umpire and 100 replays to help you. Why don’t you use that instead of asking the opposing captain?!
Thats what really pissed me off…
Apart from the fact that we seem to have reached the end line, and then lose 3 wickets in a over to Clarke. Who I must say, I am just starting to hate for lots of reasons. From standing after he nicks to slip to claiming that catch.

Wasn’t surprised to see Sehwag go. Didn’t look like he had it today. People make a good deal about his play and misses, but when he is going good, anything outside the off disappears.
India can’t complain..2/74 on a bouncy pitch with some green on it is par. Now we have to take advantage of it.
I am looking forward to Tait v Tendulkar. I hope he gets the uppercut out. Its been a while since I seen him play that shot

and Clark just dropped an absolute sitter – I don’t think I have ever seen an easier catch and it shows how important a competent first slip is.

Watching the replay, I think the pace of the pitch got Clarke. He was late on it.
My wish for the uppercut was answered :) Am telling you, when he has the uppercut and pull going, he will just dominate.
Dravid looking a bit better

To me, Mitchell Johnson is the Ashley Giles of fast bowlers. Giles speared it in at 90-95 K wide outside the legstump. Johnson spears it in at 90-95 mph way outside the offstump. Just boring.
Like the Chanderpaul of batsmen :)

My cousin asked when Hogg was left out of the team, who we were going to give a hard time to.
My answer - Mitchell “bowl somewhere near the ####### stumps” Johnson
But you knew I didn’t like him before the Melbourne test

Dravid played a howler of a shot to get out, and Laxman too. Aussies win the day. We need something from the lower order. If we sneak close to 400, I will be happy.
Ofcourse then we will have to keep the Aussies under 450/500. Batting last on this is gonna be tough

Ahh crap, we didn’t get too far. Stupid umpire got Dhoni’s decision wrong, but really, India just screwed this inning up. Too many starts, not enough people going on.
