Do we need a new thread for the Trent Bridge Test? This is good enough for me.

Changes to the teams:
Lewis in for Mahmood. I think Lewis is just about the best English bowler on the county circuit at the moment and I think England would be 2-0 up if he had played both Tests.
Jayasuriya to bat in the middle order for Sri Lanka. Not sure if I like that or not. Sri Lanka needs to win the Test, so I suppose it makes sense. I doubt if Tom Moody likes the decision though.

That’s the first run of tickets gone while the second release is open to everyone. That will be tougher. I have good contacts though and can’t see a problem for day 2 or 4 either…

England teh suck.

For a people reputedly phlegmatic and understated, they seem incapable of delivering a consistent level of performance on the cricket field.

I have to conclude they didn’t really rate the Sri Lankans’ chances, and got themselves surprised. This is bad leadership, and confirms my opinion of Freddy, that he isn’t really much of a thinking cricketer.
