The Mike Morgan Redraft League is recruiting owners for its 5th season at Mendoza Baseball. The Morgan League is a 10-12 team, single-year, NL-only league scored using the “Mendoza” format. Mendoza uses a sabrmetric style of scoring that starts with underlying events (1B, BB, HR, etc.) and estimates team runs scored and runs allowed, which are used to calculate a W-L record. It’s a cool concept, pretty easy to figure out but more interesting than standard roto style scoring.
Players are auctioned during four e-Bay style auctions that take place during the first week of April. You bid with real money up to a cap of $185, and all payroll money is divvied out among the owners at the end of the year. The core of 6-7 owners is active and a lot of fun, but we need several owners to join us.
