Can someone in a position of authority please clarify why this thread was closed? I’m not seeing an obvious reason, and I was enjoying following the discussion.
I just went in and checked the settings. Commenting is allowed. It’s some kind of glitch. I will look into it.
Follow-up: The thread is re-opened. Commenting gets automatically turned off after 60 days. This has been the default setting for about six months. This was done to prevent spammers from randomly spamming old threads which go unnoticed on Hot Topics.
