The main point of concern that I have about Morales is that his ISO power is mostly from HRs, which suggests that he’s getting something of a boost from his environments. I’d be more inclined to be optimistic about him if he were hitting more doubles.

But isn’t one of the reasons that he’s not getting a lot of doubles the fact that he’s played in HR-friendly environs? Arkansas inflates HR 46% (by Szym’s three-year weighted park factors) and 2B 21%; Rancho Cucamonga, where he didn’t play very long, inflates HR by only 6% (compared to the rest of the Cal League, so still very friendly) but is pretty neutral on 2B (a 98% park factor there). Salt Lake has an 83% park factor for 2B, but is good for HR.
