I am thinking about targeting Mark Buerhle (in a deep league with rate stats, but no wins or saves).

I would prefer to offer one guy alone for him.

Would any of these work?  Who would be best?

I can’t imagine any of those four players being enough to get Buerhle.  I assume your league uses ERA and WHIP, right? As of today, Buerhle is #11 in ERA and #3 in WHIP for all of MLB.  Even with his low K numbers, I don’t think you’d be offering comparable value.  My experience has usually been that in a deep league, you pay a premium for a reliable starter.
