Is that Dave Campbell in the booth with Len?

It is. I loved Soup when he was used by ESPN. Knowledgeable and blunt without being abrasive about it.

I love Soup too. I have never figured out why ESPN exiled him to the radio side except maybe unlike most of their baseball people, he has an actual working brain.

I have fond memories of my first couple of summers as a college student where I'd have ESPN News on almost all day just because they would occasionally have Campbell in the studio for a brief segment about the latest baseball happenings.

Hell, Campbell is even pretty entertaining on those MLB The Show video games.

This feels like a game the Cubs are going to squander.

Dempster looked pissed at Quade pulling him.

Nice subtle jab from Soup about some of the bandwagon Pirates fans.

Maybe he shouldn't walk lead-off hitters in a game he has a lead in. Frankly, he's lucky he's in line for the win. There was that runner thrown out at home and the Pirates have been smoking the ball all over the park.

Solid two innings by BPJ.
