Quest for Fire .500

Mets had the day off after the all-star break and they were supposed to be off again today. Who made this stupid schedule?
   3. AJMcCringleberry Posted: July 18, 2011 at 11:19 PM (#3880656)
Wow, this lineup is awful.
   4. Lassus Posted: July 18, 2011 at 11:20 PM (#3880659)
Didn't we destroy Hamels with an awful lineup?

There's hope!
   5. AJMcCringleberry Posted: July 18, 2011 at 11:21 PM (#3880663)
I guess. It was just shocking to see it up on the screen.

Mike Cameron? When did that happen?
   6. Lassus Posted: July 18, 2011 at 11:39 PM (#3880700)
Nice inning from Cap.
   7. AJMcCringleberry Posted: July 18, 2011 at 11:43 PM (#3880708)
Davis and Wright missing a lot of time, Reyes out for a few weeks, Santana missing (most of) the year. .500 would be a good finish for the Mets.

Duda goes to RF before Nick Evans? Evans must be pretty terrible.
   9. AJMcCringleberry Posted: July 18, 2011 at 11:50 PM (#3880723)
Nice catch, Bay.
   10. Lassus Posted: July 18, 2011 at 11:51 PM (#3880725)
I know everyone has the right to do whatever unkind and stupid thing they want, but there's the reason Jason Bay shouldn't be booed, right there.
   11. Adam Starblind Posted: July 18, 2011 at 11:53 PM (#3880726)
It was Tejada's ball, and it may very well have hit the ground before Bay gloved it.
   12. AJMcCringleberry Posted: July 18, 2011 at 11:54 PM (#3880727)
it may very well have hit the ground before Bay gloved it.

It was a clean catch.
   13. Lassus Posted: July 19, 2011 at 12:37 AM (#3880777)
Oh Tejada, I love watching you play. Could you start hitting a little again, please?
   14. AJMcCringleberry Posted: July 19, 2011 at 12:37 AM (#3880780)
I wish Tejada could hit.
   15. Lassus Posted: July 19, 2011 at 12:37 AM (#3880783)
Wow, what a terrible call.
   16. AJMcCringleberry Posted: July 19, 2011 at 12:38 AM (#3880785)
Awful call at first, he was clearly safe.
   17. Lassus Posted: July 19, 2011 at 12:44 AM (#3880796)
Man, we have really sucked recently, Hamels notwithstanding.

Coke to Cohen.
   18. Lassus Posted: July 19, 2011 at 12:52 AM (#3880810)
This has been a good fielding day for the Mets, but I would like some offense, please.
   19. Adam Starblind Posted: July 19, 2011 at 12:58 AM (#3880819)
Keith insists that off the field problems are entirely different. Why?
   20. Lassus Posted: July 19, 2011 at 01:00 AM (#3880824)
Keith is in full grump mode tonight.
   21. Lassus Posted: July 19, 2011 at 01:09 AM (#3880835)
OH MY GOD A HIT

Bay. Sweet.
   24. AJMcCringleberry Posted: July 19, 2011 at 02:04 AM (#3880935)
Hey, it's not over yet. Come on Bay!
   25. Adam Starblind Posted: July 19, 2011 at 02:08 AM (#3880942)
Season over. Nice knowing you, Beltran.
   26. AJMcCringleberry Posted: July 19, 2011 at 02:08 AM (#3880944)
