there are a lot of things i'd like to point out, but first among them is that the phillies have the best record in the NL. the second best braves are a whole 6 games back in the loss column.

the team is also on pace for 103 wins despite the prolonged DL stints of roy oswalt, joe blanton, brad lide, jose contreras, ryan madson, chase utley, shsne victorino, placido polanco, domonic brown, and carlos ruiz.

shane victorino leads the team in batting runs, slugging percentage, and OPS.

the starting rotation (halladay, hamels, lee, oswalt, worley, kendrick, blanton) has a 2.98 ERA, a 1.12 WHIP, and a 3.98 K/BB ratio in 99 games started. vance worley leads the starters with a 2.02 ERA.

The only drawback the 2011 Phils have is their inconsistent offense -- if they can stabilize that, they should be fearsome in October.

The 2010 Phils were 54-46 after 100 games. IOW, they've gone 107-55 their last 162 games.
