Haven't seen anything released on Flanagan, other than found dead on his own property.

Rest? Or are you being sarcastic?

Why is Crawford out?
   105. Dan Posted: August 25, 2011 at 02:05 AM (#3908348)
Crawford and Pedroia are just getting typical rest in a blowout.

Looks like the power is back on.

AG didn't miss a game, did he?

What a ridiculous luxury to have a guy who can play third string catcher and be at least an average DH.

A's threatening...runners at 1st and 2nd.

Crisp with a 3 run bomb to give the A's a 6-3 lead in the 10th!

Lavarnway does look a little awkward back there, but he's doing fine so far.
   113. Dan Posted: August 25, 2011 at 02:13 AM (#3908362)
Off of Soriano too. Great to see him imploding again.
   114. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 25, 2011 at 02:13 AM (#3908363)
Crisp just hammered Soriano into the upper deck for a three run dinger

{s/ Nelson}

Lavarnway's defense doesn't look visibly different from Salty's to me.

TEAM COCO.

Albers is not exactly forcing himself back into that 7th inning role here is he.

Dan Wheeler might be in there now.

He didn't have to block any pitches or do much back there, so he wasn't really tested, but he seemed like a fine receiver. I really have no idea how much little stuff catchers do, though.
   121. Dale Sams Posted: August 25, 2011 at 02:21 AM (#3908375)
Didn't Bailey throw a billion pitchs last night?
   122. Joel W Posted: August 25, 2011 at 02:24 AM (#3908380)
Up 1.
   123. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 25, 2011 at 02:25 AM (#3908381)
Paplebon - seriously? Is this necessary?
   124. Phil Coorey. Posted: August 25, 2011 at 02:29 AM (#3908386)
With the double header coming up and Miller and Wakefield - you think they would save paps

Or maybe with Miller and Wake they are expecting blow out losses...???

Who the #### knows - this just seems dumb dumb dumb

Did Remy leave the booth?
   126. Darren Posted: August 25, 2011 at 02:31 AM (#3908389)
There he is.
   127. Dan Posted: August 25, 2011 at 02:34 AM (#3908391)
I keep thinking Lavarnway is Salty behind the plate.

Did Remy leave the booth?

Unfortunately - no
   129. Dale Sams Posted: August 25, 2011 at 02:38 AM (#3908396)
What DH?
   130. Dan Posted: August 25, 2011 at 02:52 AM (#3908406)
They're talking about scheduling a doubleheader on Saturday so they don't need to worry about delays and such for Sunday's game due to Hurricane Irene.
