Why would it be irrelevant? You don't want to push a guy into scoring position, at least I don't.

It's usually said in the context of there being a runner on second base. In this instance, sure, the runner is on third rather than second.

I guess I see the "not pushing them into scoring position" point. Either way I think IBBs are ####### stupid with two outs, which is why I get so frustrated when the Red Sox don't punish them.

It's Torres so no to Moore. I think the plan is to just hope that things work out one way or the other tonight so that Moore is available tomorrow. I don't really disagree with it, I know they risk going home if they lose tonight but Price is working on making the hole bigger as we speak so that's a risk that may need to be taken.

No "might" about it, I think; unless the Sox decide to go after Reyes, he seems like a much surer bet than "Aviles is good", "Iglesias can hit", or "Lowrie can stay on the field".
