Is this actually the chatter?

I turned on the game and Buck Martinez was on my screen. I actually yelled out in shock, I thought I was free from him once the Jays season ended.

COCO! Holy crap!

Also, yes, is there no main site omni chatter?

Seemingly, this is the Chatter. And what an audience for the game!

Oakland will be happy to get some pitches out of Verlander. And a run, of course.

Hearing Buck Martinez is always weird to me because I used to play a baseball video game for which he was the color guy. So it always seems "fake" to me.

Gamingboy was going to some of the games so he might not be online. Someone else should set up a chatter on the main site.

Wow! Fielder is a lard ass.

Those moments are funny. I had a baseball mogul game where Pete Kozma became a massive, world beating star. So I always see like, "Cardinals call up Pete Kozma" on rotoworld and I think, "Holy ####! That's a huge deal!" for a second before I remember that it isn't at all.

I submitted a request for one. Someone with keys should approve it.

That's a good half-inning. The vengeance for 2006 begins!

Gah. Is vengeance over already? If so, that was brief.

Austin Jackson's transformation into a very good hitter remains one of the more fascinating stories of the 2012 season.

GB is, I believe, an O's fan, so unless he lives elsewhere, he should be around tonight.

Unless he, you know, has a life.

The YES Network has a lot of flaws--chief among them its lead PBP man--but showing the pitch count on their bug is a really nice feature. I miss it whenever I watch another broadcast.

I haven't watched hardly any of the Tigers this year. Is it just me, or does the way Prince's uniform fits him make it look like he's wearing pajamas?

I think it's the fact that he's a huge fat ass that makes him look like he's wearing pjs.

OK, so it's not just me. Good to know.

Boy, that thing would be long gone at Yankee Stadium. Phil Hughes should start praying for a trade to Detroit.
   19. Baldrick Posted: October 06, 2012 at 06:42 PM (#4257054)
This A's team is just crazy. They play in the Mariner's division. I live in San Francisco. They are in their first game of the playoffs. And I still can't believe it. Who the heck is Josh Donaldson? Or Derek Norris? When did Brandon Moss switch bodies with Albert Pujols?

Their game 1 starting pitcher is Jarrod Parker...
   20. Srul Itza Posted: October 06, 2012 at 06:46 PM (#4257063)
So the A's are in the post season with no pitcher having won more than 13 games, and only two on the post season roster with double digit wins?
   21. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: October 06, 2012 at 06:48 PM (#4257064)
They've had a pile of walk-off wins, Srul.
   22. Srul Itza Posted: October 06, 2012 at 06:54 PM (#4257071)
So that means they are either a team of destiny, or a fluke waiting to fall apart.

Main site chatter now exists

If nothing else, Verlander hasn't had an easy inning yet.
