Cardenas in left, eh? I guess I can dig it. I'm glad to see them working him into the lineup instead of burying him on the bench.

Speaking of which, I wonder why Reed Johnson has more PA than Joe Mather.

I can't believe the Cubs continue to use backup IF's in the outfield. Speaks volumes of what they think of Johnson.

True, but why not then let him take at-bats from Barney? Now granted, Soriano is hurt today and somebody had to play LF.

Well and SYTH really does suck. I think Cardenas's future is as a utility man (Four-eyes Shottenhoffen, a whole damn team of utility infielders!!) so I don't have a problem playing him all over.
