I swear, if the new Dead-Ball Era around here keeps going on too much longer, I'm going to start singing like this guy.

Wow, you mean the Nats got a leadoff double and didn't score? Time to put on the old shocked face again.

I have a CD of popular songs from the turn of the last century. Perhaps I should play it for you.

They called her frivolous Sal
A peculiar sort of a gal
With a heart that was mellow
An all 'round good fellow, was my old pal
Your troubles, sorrow and care
She was always willing to share
A wild sort of devil, but dead on the level
Was My Gal Sal.

One run was never going to be enough with Jackson on the mound. In terms of in-game performance, I think he's the weak link in the rotation.

Wow, the Nats actually scored in the first third of a game!

Would it kill Nady to take a few pitches now and then?

I've started calling him Xavier Nada, because that's about what he has left in the tank.

Yeah, this Harper kid can play a little baseball.

Harper doubles. Why is Nady batting fifth?

That was a nice, quick inning to follow getting the go-ahead run in the previous one. Well done, chaps.

Perhaps it is time Nady's role as an organizational man was invoked, and he was sent to Syracuse. Is there anyone left to bring up?

That D'backs' 6th was really annoying. All those runs came with two out.

And then the Nats' 6th was equally annoying. Why was LaRoche running?

I shall miss the rest of the game. I have to go pick up mrs fra paolo from her work.

Ramos' defense definitely leaves something to be desired.

Harper is unreal. He just missed a home run again!!
